THE SLEUTHING VIRUS MAY MAKE YOU SICK...WITH JOY AND EMERALDS!
Thursday, April 22, 2010 at 12:11PM It has come to my attention that this hunt is taking place not only in mortuaries, dark alleys, and abandoned railroad depots; it's also underway right here, where we now sit — on the internet!
Below is a list of online forums that have spontaneously emerged — impromptu virtual sleuthquarters. I can't vouch for the accuracy or sanity of these theories or theorizers, but I can't help but admire their dedication to the hunt and their commitment to community. Unearthing these treasures will take all the resources we can muster. Harvest their wisdom, plants seeds of your own...and perhaps an emerald shoot will sprout.

Early speculators
Why so many different sites? Why can't they agree on just one? How many sites can fit on the internet anyway? This seems dangerous.
Nevertheless, I feel like a proud papa! Or else like a proud baker, pulling a tray of hot muffins out of the oven. Each of these sites is a muffin, and every different poster is a chocolate chip, and each different theory is like a Sour Patch Kid (these are ChocoSour muffins). Sleuth onwards, Junior Deducers!

Is it safe to say that the jewels have been buried on public property?
Ms. Beth: I don't know if anything is safe in this world. However, you might be right; I don't know that the thieves would risk stashing the loot on someone else's land. That said, discretion, judgement, and good manners are always good things when digging in this great big world, regardless of whose property you may be on or off.
Hi Gus!
As a regular on Tweleve.org I can see how those of us who accidentally do not live near an event can be confused about all the info that is out there.
Will you be posting the clues that were given out at these events? Or can you give me those clues so I can pass them on? Either way would be appreciated.
Since we over at Tweleve are usually elbow deep into cryptic clues as often as we can get ourselves there we would like to know the exact way the SF clue is written. Also the LA clue would be great to know. Does he know or was his proboscis mentioned?
My shovel now has a permanent spot in my car. There are sticky notes all over my book. And I have taken two Khroniker trips within the O HI O area. The last road trip I took before this all started got me about 5 seconds from getting my dirty hands on the prize before the treasure hunter next to me found it. Everyone was knee deep in a snowy, flooded, little island. I still bear the scar from a giant thorny obstacle I thrashed through. This really shouldn't happen to me again.
Please! Share the clues in their correct original delivery. We would all appreciate equal digging rights.

Hi!
I noticed that YOU have not received an answer to YOUR question:
"Another "wiki" (can someone tell me what is a wiki?!?)"
A wiki ( /ˈwɪki/ WIK-ee) is a website that allows the easy[1] creation and editing of any number of interlinked web pages via a web browser using a simplified markup language or a WYSIWYG text editor.[2][3] Wikis are typically powered by wiki software and are often used to create collaborative websites, to power community websites, for personal note taking, in corporate intranets, and in knowledge management systems.

Hopefully "The Clock Without A Face" will be easier to decipher than how to start a wiki.
