BREAKING NEWS: TEXAS MESSED WITH.

I have just received word that the 9, a swinging beacon, has been torn from red Texan dirt — by an undercover sleuth! The desire for anonymity must be respected, given Dodge's nefarious ways and snotty attitude — but rest assured that I will provide any further information that I may receive.The Khroniker's three kheystones -- the 1, 6, and 12 — remain adrift, confounding us all. I can only hope Dodge has been equally confounded.

Will you update the Residents page? I deduce that Krieger Manzarek was the one who hid the nine in Texas. Or were you not informed who did it?

I'm fairly certain it was I-20, mile 80. There is a rest stop near and eye-shaped interchange.

Enaxor: Sorry for the delay -- snack time stretched into dinner time, and we all know what comes after that. Next thing I knew, it was morning and I was nestled in a cushy cocoon of Mallomars.
Reports from Boston are blurry, but Barnett and Horowitz slurred something about a Lilly Gidding, or a little giggling, or something. Seems irrelevant to me -- but, as Dodge used to say: in a world of irrelevant relevance, we must seek the relevant irrelevance. (I never knew what he meant by that.)
Gus are you going to tell us where this one was found??

I'm hoping you can clarify something that I've found confusing over the last several days. In this post you mention that the 3 remaining numbers are 1, 6 and 12. However, on the Residents page there are 4 residents that have yet to be labeled as 'Recovered'.
Is Mr. Ternky's floor to be ignored as he's the victim of this crime?
Any guidance you can provide is greatly appreciated.

Hercule: Well, I am presuming that Mr. Ternky did not steal his own clock. Although...hmm...no...no?....no...but... Hmm. In any case, I would never instruct anyone to ignore anything (when you ignore, you make an ig out of no and re), but, well, I mean, the case is the case, nothing more, nothing less.
Man Without Face: We believe that the 9 was found near New Braunfels, Texas, near a spot where many of you were looking -- the finder just found first and then withheld. It's a dirty world out there, sleuths -- especially when emeralds are involved!
Dodge did say, did he not, that Bud and Gene were the only innocent people in the building? And of course he must have meant of the residents and employees, since you, Gus are clearly beyond reproach. Also I doubt he meant to confess any involvement himself, despite his later ethically questionable actions.
In any case, Mr. Ternky would seem to clearly be in the group that is NOT innocent, according to Dodge. We of course accept your high estimation of Dodge's abilities. Could he really have been mistaken or imprecise about an issue of such gravity?
Very few of us are truly innocent, and Ternky is certainly not among that select few. His table manners alone are near criminal. However, whether he is guilty of this particular robbery is a separate matter. We must consider motive. We must consider opportunity. We must consider some third thing that I cannot remember. Which reminds me: Snack time!
Swinging Beacon? That's an odd choice of words.
