DAUGHTERS OF THE GOLDEN WEST

Sleuthcruiters Barnett & Horowitz have returned to California in an attempt to provide material support to hungry Deducers.  They will be presenting evidence and background at two sessions next week. First, San Francisco, on Monday the 12th, as a part of something called the Monthly Rumpus.  The Make-Out Room, 7:00, $10.  Second, Los Angeles, on Wednesday the 14th — Skylight Books, 7:30, free. Costumes are not encouraged, but they are not forbidden either:

Also: This weekend I will be conducting a follow-up interrogation of Dr. Quello. Any findings will be reported here on Tuesday.

Oh dear. Considering my health, I am loathe to inflict my various and sundry coughs and sneezes upon the Sleuthcruiters. And even were I not ill, I'm also preparing for a trip to the great city of Atlanta for ARGFest. A Festival for Alternate Reality Games and other Transmedia forms of entertainment (not that you would know what those are, dear Augustus).

Disappointed am I. My first missed SF tour of the sleuthcruiters. It is a sad day indeed.
